ANTICIPATED RETURNS

Families from Quebec benefit from a tax credit which allows an anticipated return that could go as far as 78% of the daycare fees that the parents pay.

 

The net daily fee for an unsubsidized spot in a private daycare becomes comparable to one of subsidized (9.10$).

 

If you meet certain conditions, you can receive the tax credit for daycare fees by advance payments. That way, you don’t have to wait to produce your tax declaration to benefit from this tax credit.

 

The advance payments are done on monthly basis. You will receive them every 15th day of each month.

The number of payments that you will receive during the year will depend on the date on which you did your application.
