Quebec families benefit from a tax credit that allows for the advance reimbursement of up to 78% of the childcare expenses that parents pay.

The net daily cost of a non-subsidized spot in private daycare becomes comparable to that of a subsidized spot ($9.65)

 

If you meet certain conditions, you can receive the childcare expense tax credit in advance payments. This means you don't have to wait until you file your tax return to claim this tax credit.

 

Advance payments are made on a monthly basis. You will receive them no later than the 15th of each month.

The number of payments you will receive in the year depends on the date you make your application.
